Happy #CreativityThursday: Using Creativity to Serve Others

image

Happy #CreativityThursday!

Have you ever used your creativity to serve others?

How does it make you feel?

When I use my creativity to serve others, my heart opens and fills up with gratitude.

Click here to listen today’s podcast and learn more about how I use my creativity as an artist-in-residence for Smith Center for Healing and the Arts at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to serve others. A poem from my book, That Which Awakens Me: A Creative Woman’s Poetic Memoir of Self-Discovery is included.  Enjoy!

PS: The photo collage includes artwork made by military family members at Walter Reed.

How did you spend the first day of 2010?

Happy New Year!

How did you spend the first day of 2010?

I did some work for my company Kiamsha.com, LLC.  I met my new creativity coaching client Sharon A. Malachi, owner of Miracles with Paws, a dog grooming, pet sitting, and dog educational services company, at U Street Cafe and the Starbucks on 16th and U in DC. We worked on her company name, brand, philosophy, motto, blog, and social media strategy. It was a lot of fun. Pure joy and play. Delicious. Magical. Amazing. Transformative.  I will blog about Sharon’s new business on Sisterhood, the Blog (http://sisterhoodtheblog.wordpress.com) next week. Look for a video on Ananda Leeke TV too.  Enjoy your first weekend of 2010!

Peace, Creativity, Compassion, Gratitude, and Joy,

Ananda
